SECURITY / DAMAGES DEPOSIT
Guests are required to take good care of the property and its contents and leave the chalet clean and tidy on the day of departure. The Hirer is liable for any loss and/or damage caused to the rented property and/or its contents (plus any loss of rental income suffered by the owners of Snuggler’s Rest as a result of any such damage) to the full value of the owner’s loss. We don’t always charge for minor breakages if reported to us before departure. If during your stay we become concerned regarding the extent of any damage, breakages or disturbance, the owners of Snuggler’s Rest reserve the right to enter the property and in extreme circumstances may require the guest(s) to vacate the property. If this action is taken, it shall be deemed that the rental of the property has immediately come to an end and the guest(s) nor anybody within the group shall not be entitled to a refund or any compensation. The owners of Snuggler’s Rest will keep an inventory of the contents of the chalet, which will also identify any existing damage in the property.
REPLACEMENT KEYS
Guests must return all keys to the owner or they will be liable for replacement costs, including any changing of the locks required for security reasons.
CANCELLATIONS
The Hirer should notify us of any cancellation immediately.
-
For cancellations less than one week before or at any time after the arrival date, not only will the deposit be forfeited, the balance of the full holiday will be payable by the Hirer. If the property can be re-let, an appropriate refund will be made, but the deposit is always non-refundable.
-
For cancellations one week to six weeks before the arrival date the deposit will be forfeited and 50% of the balance of the holiday will be payable by the Hirer. If the property can be re-let, an appropriate refund will be made, but the deposit is always non-refundable.
-
For cancellations more than six weeks before the arrival date we will refund any monies paid.
In the rare event of the owners of Snuggler’s Rest having to cancel or alter arrangements made for the Hirer, we will contact you as soon as possible to endeavour to find alternative accommodation or offer a full refund of monies paid to date. We will not accept consequential damages and liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid.
COMPLAINTS
In the unlikely event of a problem, all complaints must be received before the end of the holiday rental to enable any issues to be resolved. Contact can be made directly to us. Details will be provided in your welcome pack.
