Welcome to 'Snuggler's Rest', our cosy and charming getaway in South Devon.
Our lovely south facing self-catering chalet is situated just a mile from the historic and attractive old naval town of Dartmouth, in the heart of the South Hams. Much of this area falls within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which includes some of the UK's best award-winning beaches. Our closest beach is the gorgeous Blackpool Sands, less than a 10 minute drive away. There is something for everybody in the area, whether you are a family with children, walkers exploring the area or a couple looking for a romantic break.
Located on Norton Park, a rural 22 acre site, it has great views from most directions, some looking towards the River Dart, others across rolling countryside. The site has lawns around the chalets with space for outdoor picnics and barbecues and is perfect for children to play safely away from any traffic. Close by is a large Sainsbury's, with a petrol station and cash point, and there is also a Lidl. A bus runs from the entrance of Norton Park to Dartmouth and Totnes every two hours. A Park & Ride facility to avoid congestion in Dartmouth operates throughout the summer months and is located next to the town's Leisure Centre and swimming baths about 1/4 of a mile from Norton Park.
Styled with an Ocean/Beech feel to a high standard, Snuggler's Rest is a warm and cosy home from home.
Each chalet on Norton Park has available parking for one car with ample additional parking available in the overflow car parks.
